Content Editing

Content Editing

It starts with going and finding the right key words.

Next, head over to Ubersuggest and type in the keywords that you would like to rank for.

Ubersuggest will then tell you how popular that key word is, as well as show you ideas.

Search volume – The higher the number, the better

SEO difficulty – Typically, 40 or lower = easier to rank for (ideal key words, unless you have big budget)

Paid difficulty – The higher that number, the more likely that key word will convert

Cost Per Click – This is what you would have to pay to buy that keyword / how lucrative it is

So playing around with various key words, you will have good intelligence on whether key word is good or bad.

Now go and click on Keyword Ideas on the left hand side of Ubersuggest, which will give you more related keywords to the good ones you discovered as above. Again, extrapolate those key words that are good. In essence, by using these various key words, customers will type in these keywords and fund you. That is what you want to achieve right.

Next go click on the Content Ideas report on the left hand side and you will see a whole list of online posts that are related to that term. Now, based on the higher Social Share count, you will get a very good idea on what is working best.

Also have a look at the Estimated Visits (specifically from Google on a monthly basis) and the Backlinks (the higher the better) column too.

Remember that before you write any article, first got to Ubersuggest and do your keyword research.

Okay so now you need to create an outline for your content. Write your article, and edit as you go along. Google Docs is a great place to write your content.
